LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS ---When the Storm Rages, His Light Still Shines.

18x24 Acrylic on Canvas- Live Painting 10/18/26

Today, I had the incredible honor of painting live during worship at Citipointe Church Loveland, Colorado with our amazing church family. What made this moment even more special was that Victor Marx, who is running for Governor of Colorado, took this prophetic painting home! I am truly humbled and grateful that this piece will be with Victor and his wife, Eileen.

What makes this painting especially meaningful to me is how beautifully its message connects with the heart behind Victor and Eileen's work through All Things Possible Ministries. Their mission of helping protect children, confronting human trafficking and exploitation, and bringing hope and restoration to those who have experienced unimaginable trauma reflects the calling to bring LIGHT into some of the darkest places.

Just as the lighthouse shines into the storm, we are called to carry the love and light of Jesus into places of fear, captivity, and brokenness.

As I painted Light in the Darkness, my heart was to capture the faithfulness of our Heavenly Father in the midst of life's greatest storms.

The dark, raging seas represent the trials, fear, trauma, bondage, and brokenness we encounter in this world. The towering waves remind us that sometimes life feels overwhelming, and we cannot see a way through.

But then there is the LIGHTHOUSE!

Standing firm and unwavering, its brilliant light pierces through the darkness, storm, and fog. It represents Jesus Christ, our refuge, our hope, our rescuer, and the Light that darkness can NEVER overcome!

John 1:5 (KJV)"And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

Isaiah 61:1 reminds us of God's heart to heal the brokenhearted and proclaim liberty to the captives.

No darkness is too deep for His light. No storm is greater than His power. And no life is beyond the reach of His redeeming love!

My Prayer and Blessing:

Father God, I pray that this painting becomes a beautiful reminder of Your presence, protection, and faithfulness. May Your light continue to shine through Victor and Eileen as they minister to those who are hurting and vulnerable. Strengthen them, guide their steps, protect their family, and fill them with Your wisdom, compassion, and peace. May every person walking through darkness encounter the hope, healing, and freedom found in Jesus Christ.

I am so honored that something the Holy Spirit placed on my heart and guided through my paintbrush will now have a home with them!!!

The storms may rage, but HIS LIGHT WILL NEVER GO OUT!

All glory, honor, and praise to Jesus!
