THE BATTLE BELONGS TO HIM
Original Pencil Artwork
There is a profound silence in this image…a silence that speaks louder than a battle cry.
Look closely at the warrior.
His sword isn’t raised in anger. It isn’t drawn in fear.**It is anchored firmly into the ground.**
The weapon meant for battle has become a symbol of **surrender, stability, and rest.**
And instead of standing guard, the warrior rests his weary head against the Lion.
**The Lion of Judah.**
Because sometimes the greatest act of faith isn't picking up your sword…
**It's knowing when to lay it down.**
Maybe you're exhausted from fighting battles no one else can see.
Tired of defending yourself.Tired of trying to control the outcome.Tired of carrying anxiety about what tomorrow will bring.
But what if God is asking you to stop fighting?
What if He's asking you to **trust Him with the battle?**
There is a place where you can lay down your sword.A place where you can lower your guard.A place where you can finally breathe.
**His presence.**
When you belong to the King, you don't have to live in defensive mode.
You can be still.
You can surrender.
You can rest.
Because **the battle belongs to Him.**
**“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”**— Exodus 14:14
True peace isn't the absence of trouble.
**True peace is knowing that God is with you in the middle of it.**
So today, lay down the battle you've been carrying.
Release the need to understand everything.Release the need to defend yourself.Release the fear of what might happen next.
Place your sword at His feet.
And lean into the Lion.
**You don't have to fight what God has already taken into His hands.**
**When the battle belongs to Him, your job is to trust the King.**
